About the Event
Jesus questions His apostles: "But what about you?" "Who do you say that I am?" (Matthew 16: 13-20)
Jesus poses this personal question to each of us. In return, an intentional and personal response is demanded of each of us. Inevitably, our response to this question needs to become the cornerstone around which we pattern the choices and moral decisions of our life. Who is the person of Jesus for me?
From this pivot point, we can set about seeking the response to subsequent life questions. Questions such as: "What is the Church and do I need it?"; "How do I pray?"; "Is God aware of the details of my life?"; "Am I really free?" and "Does Truth exist?"
Do you want to deepen your faith and knowledge of the person of Jesus? As Aqunias, reminds us "You cannot love what you do not know". The Catholic Church provides us with a profound and solid Catechism, a summary of the doctrine and teachings of the Church, so that we can come to know the person of Jesus and His Church. Come and share in classes specifically tailored to present a summary of the whole of the Catechism of the Catholic Church. The classes will go through each of the four sections of the Catechism in an effort that you may come to know more of the person of Jesus and who you say that He is.
