Colleen Carroll Campbell is an award-winning author, print and broadcast journalist and former presidential speechwriter. Her books include her critically acclaimed journalistic study, The New Faithful; her spiritual memoir, My Sisters the Saints, which won two national awards and has been published in five languages; and her award-winning new release, The Heart of Perfection: How the Saints Taught Me to Trade My Dream of Perfect for God’s. Colleen has written for the New York Times, Washington Post, Christianity Today, America, and National Review, and appeared on CNN, FOX News, MSNBC, ABC News, PBS, NPR and EWTN, where she hosted her own television and radio shows for eight years. A former speechwriter for President George W. Bush and editorial writer and op-ed columnist for the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, Colleen is the recipient of two honorary doctorates and numerous other awards and fellowships. Dr. Lombardi  is an award-winning author who has worked as a parish minister, university campus minister, high school chaplaincy leader, teacher educator through O.E.C.T.A., professor of Religious Education, Brock University, retreat facilitator, faith formation consultant, and program coordinator in the Diocese of Hamilton. Presently, she is Associate Professor of Pastoral and Systematic Theology, Professor of Field Education, and Director of Lay Formation for St. Augustine’s Seminary in Scarborough, Ontario. She has done media work in radio and television and has been an advisor to the Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops in the area of doctrine and Catholic-Muslim relations. Her books On Earth as it is in Heaven and Experts in Humanity have been featured on Salt and Light TV. Experts in Humanity was awarded first place in the category of Family Life by the Catholic Press Association of the United States and Canada in 2017.

She is the Series Theologian for the new Religious Education resource for grades 1 through 8, “Growing in Faith, Growing in Christ” for Catholic School Boards in Ontario, Alberta and Saskatchewan.

Dr. Lombardi is available for speaking engagements including retreats and faith formation.

Dr. Patricia Murphy is a graduate of the Christianity and Culture Program at the University of St. Michael’s College in Toronto. Her Boston College doctoral dissertation in Theology explored Aquinas’ teaching on the vice of acedia, or “sloth,” and concluded that for Aquinas, acedia means “flight from God as friend.” Dr. Murphy is the Associate Professor of Moral Theology at St. Augustine’s Seminary. She taught at in the areas of the foundations of moral theology, bioethics and human sexuality and marriage since 2004. Her students include seminarians, men in the permanent diaconate formation program and their wives, and lay women and men in the Institute of Theology. She speaks regularly before a variety of audiences and is the author of Catholic Marriage: An Intimate Community of Life and Love (Novalis, 2011).
