Our events offer women an opportunity to set aside the hustle and bustle of everyday life and enjoy a time of respite where she can reflect and receive, be refreshed and rejuvenated in the company of hundreds of other women. Listen to high-calibre, inspirational speakers, powerful touching testimonies and up-lifting spiritual music. There is always a warm welcome, great food, lots of laughter and a little something to take home. These are grace-filled days blessed with an atmosphere of sisterhood, new friendships and renewed hope.

Michael Carrera has a masters degree in exercise science and has authored and co-authored four books: Periodization Strength Training for Sports (2nd ed), The Catholic Workout book and DVD, Conditioning Young Athletes and Soul Winner. Soul Loser. Two of his books have been translated into multiple languages. Soul Winner. Soul Loser, is his first book of fiction. Michael is a Permanent Deacon in the Catholic Church and lives in Toronto, Canada, with his wife and four children.
Dr. Sandra Sagrati
Pivot Self-Talk
Dr. Sandra Sagrati is a clinical psychologist who works with children, adolescents and adults in her private practice, Toronto West Psychology. She obtained her doctoral degree at the University of Toronto, and received training at the Eating Disorders Program at the University Health Network and the Anxiety and Depression Units at St. Joseph’s Healthcare. She spent over a decade working at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health in both the Cognitive Behavior Unit as well as the Brain Imaging program. Her research publications are in the area of depression, anxiety, and exercise. She is the author of Pivot-Self-Talk: Stop Asking All the Wrong Questions, and a workbook of the same name, designed for children.
